WELCOME
Please enjoy these exquisite photos taken in our member's gardens!
The Grantham Garden Club is a vibrant, nonprofit organization in New Hampshire’s Upper Valley. Our 100+ members range from novice hands-in-the-soil gardeners to experienced master gardeners, and some simply enjoy participating in our many events. The club offers a wide variety of educational programs, field trips, and civic-minded activities organized to enhance and beautify our community. Educational scholarships in support our mission are available to high school and college students. Membership is open throughout the year and we'd love to have you join us. UPCOMING PROGRAMS & FIELD TRIPSOur adventure to Sugarbush Farm will take place in rain, snow or shine!
Please dress for outdoor weather and wear appropriate footwear because we'll be walking outside between buildings and there are maple-wooded nature trails you may want to explore. If you would like to take some goodies home with you, there will be time to browse the farmhouse gift shop after our tour of the sugar house. The tour is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and we plan to wrap up our visit by 12:30 p.m. before driving to the Skinny Pancake Restaurant for lunch at 12:45 p.m. When you sign up online for the tour and lunch, please let us know if you plan to drive yourself or join a carpool. If you want to carpool, indicate if you prefer to be a passenger, or how many passengers you can comfortably fit in your car if you are volunteering to drive. Ever wondered why Eastern Bluebirds and American Robins are now spending winters in New Hampshire but missed our February program? Fortunately, Grace will be back on March 26th for an evening encore of her engaging presentation! Hopefully she'll provide us with an update on the February 2026 backyard bird identification survey results and offer further insights into what the data reveals about the impacts of a warming climate. |

The Club had a record turnout for its February Meeting! All were excited to learn about 39 years’ worth of data collected through the NH Audubon’s Annual Backyard Winter Bird Survey. Happily for Audubon and for those in attendance, the 40th survey was about to take place over the next two days. Good timing! (continue reading) |
