2023 SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Our 2023 scholarship applications have closed and we thank all of those who submitted applications this year.
MISSION
The organization's mission is to:
ELIGIBILITY
Each year the Grantham Garden Club (GGC) offers financial scholarship to New Hampshire residents preparing for a career in horticulture, landscaping, forestry, agriculture, plant sciences, or environmental sciences at a post-secondary institution. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in or about to enroll in a part-time or full-time accredited college, community college, or technical school program in one of these fields. |
- The GGC does not award scholarships to students studying fish and wildlife management.
- For students in environmental sciences, preference will be given to those interested in topics related to plant life, such as conservation of local plant species, control of invasive plants, or soil conservation.
AWARDS
The GGC determines the amount available for awards on an annual basis. This year the club will award up to $4,000 to eligible applicants. The total amount may be awarded to one applicant or divided among multiple qualified applicants. Factors that may affect the decision include the number of applications received and the merit of the applicants in a particular year.
The GGC sends award notifications to successful applicants. Financial awards are sent directly to the college or technical school. They may be used for tuition, books, or other expenses that support the recipient’s education.
